World Rural Development Day: A new focus on sustainable rural improvement
The United Nations General Assembly has declared July 6 as World Rural Development Day. It is one of the significant steps that UNGA has taken. It was made during their 78th session and was unanimously agreed upon, showing a strong global consensus on the need to support rural development.
