The United Nation official condemned golden rocket attack took the lives of many people 

It is very concerning to know that a rocket attack on a football field in the Golan Heights took the lives of many people. This incident approximately killed 12 people, mostly children and teens. The Secretary – General of the United Nation, António Guterres and many other officials of the United Nations condemned this act of violence. In order to avoid conflicts, they are calling people to keep silent and maintain the peace. This incident is shocking news for everyone. All the nation should work together to avoid such incidents and promote peace. Also collaboration is needed to prevent more innocent lives from being lost. It’s heartbreaking to see young lives cut short, and people must strive to stop such senseless acts of brutality. ​​

The tragic killing of 12 civilians, mostly children and teenagers, in the Druze village of Majdal Shams in the Israeli-occupied Golan is deeply saddening. Such senseless violence is heartbreaking and unacceptable. My heart goes out to the families who have lost their loved ones, and the UN chief wishes a speedy recovery to all the injured. This tragic event underscores the urgent need for peace and the protection of innocent lives. The loss of so many young lives is a stark reminder of the ongoing conflicts and the importance of striving for a safer, more just world.

Additionally, Mr. Guterres’s Spokesperson said on sunday, “ Civilians, and children in particular, should not continue to bear the burden of the horrific violence plaguing the region.”

The Secretary-General also urged all parties to maintain peace and never take any step that could harm the atmosphere and make the situation worse. He again and again stresses the importance of expressing  restraint to avoid any escalation.

This clearly highlights that he wants the nation to act responsibly and also work towards peace. People should not increase tension further. His desire for a calm atmosphere clearly reflects his commitment to maintain stability and peace. 

In order to stop the further escalation, it is important to end the fighting across the Blue Line immediately. It is the responsibility of every nation to follow and respect the international laws. These laws are strongly such types of acts of violence. 

Each side needs to recommit urgently to the full implementation of UN Security Council resolution 1701. This resolution outlines important measures for maintaining peace and stability in the region. By doing so, all parties will help facilitate a return to a cessation of hostilities. Ensuring compliance with these obligations is essential for achieving a more stable and peaceful future for everyone involved.

The recent attack clearly highlights the seriousness of the situation. It also points out that the Middle East is dangerously close to more conflicts.  Tor Wennesland, the UN’s top diplomat for the area, pointed this out on X, that the situation is very serious and no region across the world is ready for another open war. 

He is also calling all parties to act wisely and also emphasizes that rocket launches across the Blue Line must be prevented as soon as possible. Avoiding further violence is better for everyone and also saves the world from further trouble. 

Many other officials from the United Nations also criticized the attack. The UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon and the UNIFIL Force Commander strongly opposed those who were involved in this incident. They were shocked to know that many children and teenagers’ lives are being lost. They also show condolence to the families of the injured people. Protection of civilian life should be the priority of every government. Both officials, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert and Lt. Gen. Aroldo Lázaro, stressed that it is crucial to protect civilians at all times.

Both sides should take action and prevent such incidents. If it does not stop then it leads to massive conflict that causes many destruction and also the lives of innocent ones.
